Description.

According to the ERC-guidelines the survival rate can be increased up to 70% when bystanders provide CPR with minimal breaks. The LIFEPAK CR2 is the only AED that allows chest compressions to continue during the EKG rhythm analysis leading to limited breaks between resuscitation and defibrillation. The breaks are even eliminated altogether when a non shockable rhythm is detected. This semi automatic CR2 gives a signal when the shock can be given after this is found necessary during the analysis, the responder needs to push the shock button then.
