Description.
The battery unit for the Defibtech Lifeline and Lifeline auto AED's has a standy-by lifespan of 7 years, 300 shocks or 16 hours of usage time. The daily, weekly and monthly self tests will be carried out using the 9 volts lithiumbattery placed in the battery unit. This battery, which is placed in the battery unit, makes sure the self tests are done and ensures an optimal use of lifespan for the main battery.
The battery unit inludes one 9 volt lithium battery as standard (HAC-9V). But to continuously carry out the selftest, the battery needs to be replaced annualy. After replacing the battery (unit) a self test will start automatically, when the self test succeeded the status indicator on the AED will blink green.

The 7-year lasting Defibtech battery can be used in combination with the following Defibtech AED's:
