SAM XT training tourniquet - blue.

Description.

The SAM XT tourniquet (blue) is the newest tourniquet, especially developed for a quick and reliable ligation of extreme wounds/bleeding. This tourniquet does need lesser twists and turns. When tightening, you get confirmation in the form of an audible 'click' when the strap is tightened enough. It often happens that ther is too much slack left in the strap. The special SAM XT 'Truforce' buckle will automatically lock the tourniquet at an in advanced specified amount of force, causing that all the leftover slack in the tourniquet is eleminated. 

De automatic buckle makes the tourniquet very simple and quick in use in self-application. Especially for tactical units of the police and defense forces is self-application an important aspect. This tourniquet is used for training purposes.
