Description.

The Schiller Fred Easyport plus AED is very compact (143 mm x 150 mm x 46 mm) and extremely lightweight (870 grams with battery and electrodes), making it fit into any inner pocket and doctor's bag. Nevertheless, this AED meets all the requirements of a modern AED. This device delivers a biphasic shock. Due to its size and weight, the Easyport is the ideal companion for doctors, paramedics, and trained AED users.

The AED provides very clear spoken instructions to support the rescuer and a small color LCD screen to assist with the instructions. Data can also be read from the screen during the analysis. Because the screen also displays an ECG, it is very suitable for use by professional responders. The operation is also straightforward, with a simple 3-step process: START-ANALYZE-SHOCK.

In the case of a pediatric victim, there are two possibilities for resuscitation using the 15:2 resuscitation protocol. The first option is to connect the pediatric electrodes. The Schiller Fred Easyport plus will automatically switch to a reduced energy output and provide adapted instructions according to this protocol. If you don't have pediatric electrodes on hand, you can also use the adult electrodes and press the baby/child button. In that case, the Schiller Fred Easyport plus AED will also adjust to the victim accordingly.
