Lifepak's AEDs are one of the most advanced and innovative AEDs on the market. This technology is also used for Lifepak's AED trainers, which can simulate the deployment of the Lifepak AEDs almost one-to-one. Like the AED, the Lifepak 1000 AED trainers have the distinctive screen for displaying instructions, but on the trainer it can also be used for adjusting settings and switching between training scenarios. The Lifepak CR2 trainer is a little more universal and also has a screen for adjusting settings under the electrode tray, so the trainer still looks almost the same as a real Lifepak CR2 AED during exercise. The CR2 AED trainer can additionally be used as a trainer for the fully automatic and semi-automatic AED.

Brand and type specific AED Trainers

Does your organisation use one type of AED device (on multiple locations) as standard, it may be desirable to also practise using this type. That's why manufacturers make an AED trainer from the AED's they put on the market. The benefit of these AED trainers is that the person who practises with it also has a big chance to use the same model in real life. The visual aspects and the feeling are therefore the same during practise as in an actual emergency situation and this may be in the advantage of the (unexperienced) rescue helpers.
