HeartSave myPad electrodes with CPR-sensor.

Description.

The Primedic Heartsave myPad electrodes contain clear instructions on the pads for placing the electrodes on both adult and child victims. The CPR feedback sensor also clearly indicates where it should be placed. In combination with the child button on the myPad AED, the energy output for pediatric patients is automatically limited. Because the electrodes are pre-connected, the AED can test their presence and shelf life on a daily basis, and they are ready for immediate use when needed. Upon delivery, the electrodes have a shelf life of at least 4 up to 5 years. 

With the CPR feedback sensor, the AED can provide feedback on the depth and speed of compressions. The basic HeartSave myPAD AED does this by giving clear spoken instructions. In versions with an LCD or touchscreen display, these instructions are also shown on the screen. This is a valuable addition for untrained first responders performing CPR.
