Description.

According to the ERC-guidelines the survival rate can be increased up to 70% when bystanders provide CPR with minimal breaks. The LIFEPAK CR2 is the only AED that allows chest compressions to continue during the ECG rhythm analysis leading to limited breaks between resuscitation and defibrillation. The breaks are even eliminated altogether when a non shockable rhythm is detected. This fully automatic CR2 automatically gives the shock when the AED device finds this necessary, a warning is only given just before the AED shocks.
